TMCF | Lowe’s Scholarship
Scholarship Overview
Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Lowe’s are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member-schools that include 54 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Forty-five (45) scholars will be selected to receive a spring scholarship of up to $7,500 for the 2024-2025 academic school year. Selected students must be in good academic standing but at risk of not returning or graduating from college due to an outstanding financial need and/or emergency situation that leads to a financial aid crisis.
Eligibility Requirements:
Be enrolled full-time as a sophomore, junior, or senior at a TMCF member-school during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Have an unpaid school balance of up to $7,500.
Must not have previously received the Lowe’s Scholarship.
Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
Able to demonstrate a financial need.
Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
