TMCF | Wells Fargo Emergency Scholarship
Scholarship Overview
Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Wells Fargo are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member schools that include 54 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Sixty (60) scholars will be selected to receive a fall emergency gap scholarship of up to $1000 for the 2024-2025 academic school year. Selected students must be in good academic standing but at risk of not returning or graduating from college due to an outstanding financial need, and/or emergency situation that leads to a financial-aid crisis.
Eligibility Requirements:
Be enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at a TMCF member-school during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
Current cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
Have an unpaid student account balance of up to $1000.
Able to demonstrate a financial need.
Must have the 2024-2025 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection.
Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
